To create your AcademiaTrack account:

1. Click "Sign Up" on the login page
2. Fill in your personal information (name, university, department)
3. Select your academic level (100-500 level)
4. Enter your email address and create a password
5. Verify your email address with the code sent to you
6. Start adding your academic information!

To add your first semester:

1. Go to the Progress page from the navigation menu
2. Click "Add New Semester"
3. Select your level (100, 200, 300, etc.)
4. Choose the semester type (First or Second)
5. Enter the academic year
6. Start adding courses to your semester

To effectively track your academic progress, you'll need:

• Course titles and codes
• Credit units for each course
• Grades received (A, B, C, D, E, F)
• Semester information (level, type, year)
• Academic activities and deadlines

To update your profile:

1. Navigate to the Profile page from the main menu
2. Click the "Edit Profile" button
3. Update your personal information (name, university, department)
4. Change your academic level if needed
5. Save your changes

Note: Some information like email may require verification.

To reset your password:

1. Go to the login page
2. Click "Forgot Password?" below the password field
3. Enter your email address
4. Check your email for a verification code
5. Enter the code and create a new password
6. Log in with your new password

To delete your AcademiaTrack account:

1. Go to your Profile page
2. Scroll to the bottom and click "Account Settings"
3. Select "Delete Account"
4. Confirm your decision by entering your password
5. Note: This action is permanent and cannot be undone

Your CGPA is calculated using the Nigerian 5.0 grading scale:

CGPA = Total Grade Points ÷ Total Credit Units

To add courses and grades to a semester:

1. Go to the Progress page
2. Select the semester you want to add courses to
3. Click "Add Course"
4. Enter the course title and code
5. Specify the credit units
6. Select the grade received (or leave blank if pending)
7. Save the course

Your CGPA will automatically update as you add grades.

To track assignments, tests, and other activities:

1. Navigate to the Activities page
2. Click "Add Activity"
3. Select the activity type (Assignment, Test, Practical, Exam)
4. Enter the activity name and description
5. Select the associated course (if any)
6. Set the due date and priority level
7. Save the activity

Upcoming deadlines will appear on your dashboard.

If you're not receiving verification emails:

• Check your spam or junk folder
• Ensure you entered the correct email address
• Wait a few minutes - emails can sometimes be delayed
• Try requesting a new verification code
• If using Gmail, check the "Promotions" tab
• Contact support if the issue persists

If your data isn't saving:

• Ensure you have a stable internet connection
• Check if you're logged into your account
• Refresh the page and try again
• Clear your browser cache and cookies
• Try using a different browser
• Make sure you click "Save" after making changes

If you're having trouble logging in:

• Double-check your email and password
• Use the "Forgot Password" feature to reset your password
• Ensure your caps lock is turned off
• Clear your browser cache and cookies
• Try logging in from a different browser or device
• Contact support if you continue having issues
